Inbound Angels exists to help HubSpot leaders give back to the startup ecosystem. For founders, we offer a single place to pitch their business and an opportunity to gain capital as well as the guidance and networking opportunities necessary to make their business succeed. For investors, we offer a curated list of companies that they’ll want to not just invest in, but also get involved in. Angel investing is a high-risk endeavor; by supporting the businesses they invest in, investors at Inbound Angels can improve their odds of success.
The Faces Behind Inbound Angels
Kipp Bodnar and Bradford Coffey founded Inbound Angels in 2022 as a way to encourage HubSpotters past and present to invest in and give back to the startup ecosystem. Read their bios for more details on their backgrounds, ambitions, and aspirations for Inbound Angels.
Kipp Bodnar
Kipp Bodnar is the Chief Marketing Officer of HubSpot, where he sets HubSpot’s global inbound marketing strategy to drive awareness and demand for HubSpot’s inbound marketing and sales products.
Prior to his role as CMO, Kipp served as Vice President of Marketing at HubSpot, overseeing all demand generation activity worldwide, building out the EMEA and APAC marketing teams, and managing HubSpot’s field marketing, localization, strategic partnerships, and social media efforts. Kipp serves as a marketing advisor for SaaS companies including SimplyMeasured, InsightSquared and Guidebook.
Kipp is the co-author of “The B2B Social Media Book: Become a Marketing Superstar by Generating Leads with Blogging, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Email, and More.” An industry-leading speaker and blogger, Kipp is also a strategic advisor to three companies. He holds a BA in Journalism from Marshall University.
Brad Coffey
Brad Coffey was the Chief Strategy Officer at HubSpot. In the role, Brad led the long-term strategy around HubSpot's products, packaging and pricing. Additionally, Brad oversaw HubSpot's partnerships, ventures, and corporate development teams. Brad joined HubSpot as one of the company’s first employees, working in product and operations. During Brad's time at HubSpot, the company grew from a startup with less than $1m in ARR to a publicly-traded company with $1b in ARR.
